"The thing you could see ... his body was
leaning and moving in a direction where the ball was going,
maybe before other keys were telling him to do that. He's just
got some natural instincts as a football player."

BRET BIELEMA; Wisconsin Badgers Head Coach
"You can't miss Wisconsin safety Chris Maragos
because he never goes away. He's a former Western Michigan
receiver who walked on with the Badgers in 2007 and had to learn
how to play safety. But he's turned into a player. A good
defense needs a safety like Maragos who makes tackles and knocks
down passes every game, not sporadically. He started six games
last season, and this September Maragos had enormous plays
against Fresno State( game-sealing late interception) and
Northern Illinois (game-icing pass breakup on NIU's final
drive). But even when Maragos doesn't show up in the box score,
He's smart, tough and never out of position."

2-Time All American, 4 Time Pro Bowler, ESPN Analyst
"He's a guy who's very respected, he's a guy
who's very strong in his faith and he's a guy who shows what
hard work, perseverance and what believing in your talents and
who you are can do for you. After not being offered a
scholarship here at Wisconsin, playing receiver at Western
Michigan, playing receiver here for the first semester and
moving to defensive back and becoming a starter and team captain
for us, he's every example you would want for young kids."
